Ditto Nitrome
Step into the mysterious world of Ditto Nitrome, a masterpiece of a puzzle platformer, where imagination and logic intertwine. Through its groundbreaking central concept, this one-of-a-kind game has had a lasting impact on players.

Explore The Reflective World
You will accompany a girl and her reflection, controlling both simultaneously through forty challenging levels. The synergy between these two worlds creates unique puzzles. When the girl stands on a platform that exists only in her world, her reflection falls into an indefinite void. Despite the way it opens on her screen, a wall obstructing the path in the mirrored world may stop the girl. The fates of both characters intertwine: any danger to either will immediately reset the level from the beginning. This seemingly simple mechanism is the solid foundation supporting the entire game structure, turning every move into a strategic decision.
Controls And Escape - Multidimensional Operation
In Ditto, the girl moves in the familiar platformer style, but with an unexpected twist. While airborne, pressing and holding the jump button a second time activates the ability to glide. This ability slows the character's fall while maintaining horizontal velocity, allowing her to traverse vast distances. The lethal waters are especially perilous; touching them will return you to the level's beginning. Hazards such as poisonous snakes, sharp spikes, red blocks, and hovering ghosts put dexterity to the test on every level. Sparkling gems are scattered throughout the levels, serving as optional collectable items. Some of these can only be collected by the mirror image, not by the girl herself. Collecting all of these gems will significantly contribute to your final score. The game requires a fine balance between safe mobility and optimum collecting, particularly when calculating both characters' trajectories.
To control the girl and her mirror image, players use the arrow keys on the keyboard. The left and right arrow keys are used to move the character sideways. The up arrow key acts as the jump button. In mid-air, pressing and holding the up arrow key again activates the dash, enabling you to cross vast distances. Even though you can use WASD to move, the arrow keys are still the best for a fluid experience.
