There are no large maps to explore slowly; the prehistoric world here is compressed into long runs. Instead of telling the story through dialogue, the game tells it through body size. From a small omnivore, you evolve through various forms until you become a top predator. Furthermore, the game discourages reckless action. If you crash into a larger dinosaur, the run ends instantly. Rotating axes and green walls encourage players to interpret the path from afar, like seeing the future seconds before it occurs.
